Outlook Express Setup
Before You Start:
Have your full email address and account password ready.
Find your incoming and outgoing server names. Contact Us if you are unsure what your server names are.
The following procedure is for Microsoft Outlook Express 6

In Microsoft Outlook Express, select Tools, and then click Accounts.

On the Internet Accounts window, click the Mail tab, and then click Add.

On the Internet Connect Wizard window, in the Display name field, enter the name to be be displayed on your email, and then click Next.

In the E-mail address field, enter your email address, and then click Next.

On the E-mail Server Names window, from the My incoming mail server is a list, select POP3.

In the Incoming mail (POP3) server field enter your Incoming POP Server.

In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, enter your Outgoing SMTP Server, and then click Next.

In the Account name and Password fields, enter your email address and password, and then click Next.

Click Finish.

On the Internet Accounts wizard, select the account you just created, and then click Properties.

In the Properties window, click the Servers tab, and then select My server requires authentication.

Click the Advanced/settings button which brings you to the Outgoing Mail Server Settings

Log On Using > enter in your INTERNET servers email address and password (ie; personalemail@xplornet, personalemail@shaw, personalemail@telus, etc)

Check remember password
-
Click OK
-
Click Apply

Click OK

Click Close
